Paperarchive stores your documents and uses automatic processing to enhance organization. We do not perform additional analytics beyond these features.

Data Collected

We collect account details you provide at registration and any documents you upload. This data is stored securely with our service providers.

How We Use Data

Uploaded documents are processed only to deliver requested features such as text recognition and summarization. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase for user authentication, document storage and function hosting.
• Google Cloud Vision API operated by Google Cloud Ireland Ltd. (EU region) for extracting text from images and PDFs. Document OCR processing occurs exclusively within EU data centers. No data leaves the European Union and no information is retained after processing.
• OpenAI for generating summaries and tag suggestions.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and are bound by data processing agreements.

Data Retention

Documents remain stored until you delete them. Account data persists while your account is active.
